A new bee keeper who lives in the local area asked me to come up and give him a hand with moving his new NUC to a full sized hive. It's always great to see new enthusiastic bee keepers.
The NUC was going really well and it did need to be moved into a bigger box. Sorry no close up photos today as there were all too blurry.
We located the Queen and spotted lots of new eggs. It was great to show Rocky what these look like and have a good chat about the wonderful of Bees.
The bees have a great view of the valley and I hope they too well in their new home.
After talking to Rocky it was was surprising to me how much we have learnt in our first year of bee keeping. But we still have much much to learn.
