New Zealand Beeswax direct from the beekeepers. This wax comes from our organically managed hives located in the hills of the Waitakere ranges in Auckland.
You are buying a packet weighing 250 grams.
The wax is a by-product of harvesting honey from our bees. The wax is used by the bees to make Honey Comb to store honey and the young bees.
- Beeswax can be used for:-
- Making smokeless candles
- Making Beeswax Wraps
- Making your own furniture polish

How do Bees Create Beeswax?
The wax is produced by the young bees from nectar, each bee has eight wax glands that they use to produce the wax. As the bees age their ability to produce wax reduces.
We extract the honey once a season, so once the batch is sold we probably won’t have anymore, so please order early to avoid disappointment.
